The creator team of Alpes DEIS , was very experimented, and had already designed in the past, mass market products well known like :

  • The automatic control device of washing machine "La puce Thomson"
  • The calculator of pre-post heating of the "Renault 19" and "Safrane Renault"

How it started 

In 1979 Bruno Chaumontet and Philippe Monceyron start working together in Compagny "Sibel", member of "Carpano et Pons" Group. They design a few products together, but it is during the project "la Puce Thomson" in 1981, that Michel Perrin and Josette Derappe join the Team. Very quickly, this team become very efficient in 2 ways:

  • product price optimization thanks to the use of low-cost microcontrollers.
  • System design in evoluated language on Apple II then on PC.

Then a young technician, Ludovic Morand, joined them.

At the end of 1986,  after an uncertained issue in the group wich employ them, and just before Eaton become the mean shareholder, the team is very interested by an offer of automotive design at "Cartier Appareillage". The 5 persons, quickly integrated, work on new more complicated products than the historic products of this compagny.

At the end of 1988, saying "no" to leave the region to follow the new electronic design office of the group, and just before Valeo become the main shareholder,  the Team decide to found Alpes DEIS :

" Keep the Team and our Jobs in the Region to follow our Passion "

The beginning

The activity of Alpes DEIS started in february of 1989 with 5 peoples in the town of Cluses.

Then Growth of Electronic board design & manufacturing, allowed new electronic designers to join the team, and also with birth of the first own product "HESTIA SYSTEME", the decision to build facilities well optimized regarding our activities is launch !

In December 2008, Alpes DEIS enter its brand new facilities in the town of Marignier (at a few kilometers from Cluses).

The growth

The growth of Alpes DEIS is made of activity increase and new colaborator entrance. The facilities are now too small again : A second building has been built, in 2013.
